Members and donors may reserve free tickets for Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters according to the schedule below:

  • July 5: Director’s Circle, Curator’s Circle, Leadership Donors, and Exhibition Fund Supporters
  • July 13: Friend-, Supporter-, Avant-Garde, and Partner-level members
  • July 20: Student-, Individual-, and Dual-level members

    Student and Individual level: 1 free ticket; Dual level: 2 free tickets; Friend level and above: 2 free tickets per day. You may select tickets to visit on the following dates:

  • Member Previews: July 30 (12–5 pm) and July 31 (10 am–7 pm)
  • Member Monday: August 1 (6–9 pm)
  • Full exhibition dates: August 1–November 27, 2016

    Rain Room
    Experience the seemingly impossible with Random International’s Rain Room (2012). This immersive environment features perpetually falling water that pauses wherever a human body is detected.

    Timed tickets are required and are expected to sell out quickly. Rain Room is a specially ticketed experience. Tickets are dated and timed, and advance reservations are required as capacity is limited. Tickets are not transferable and there are no refunds. Public ticketing details may be found here

    Rain Room is a specially ticketed, timed entry experience.

    Important: These tickets are for current LACMA members only. If your membership is not current at the time of your reservation/visit, you must join or renew upon arrival at LACMA in order to see Rain Room or your tickets will be forfeited. There are no refunds on tickets. Tickets are not transferable.

    Students and Individual members may purchase one discounted adult ticket. Dual-level members and above may purchase two discounted adult tickets total.

    Members may also purchase up to two youth (3-17) tickets online.

    A Perceptual Cell experience for one viewer at a time.

    This is an 11-minute immersive experience for one viewer at a time. Light Reignfall is a specially ticketed experience. Tickets are dated and timed, and advance reservations are required as capacity is extremely limited. Tickets are not transferable and there are no refunds. Light Reignfall participants must be 18 or over and have a valid photo id. This does not include Rain Room admission.
